Hoss rebuffs first bribe attempt
Vote Basset May 2nd. 2008, 10:40amIn an amazing show of courage, Hoss has turned down an offer to gracefully bow out of the Presidential campaign. Early this morning, an unknown basset came to talk with Hoss about how he will be splitting the vote and may skew the election. While the meeting took place behind closed doors, a picture was leaked to us from a security camera inside da Boss headquarters.
In this picture, you can clearly see that it was an extremely tempting offer….
Hoss sent this unnamed basset running out of his office with his tail between his legs. You could hear Hoss barking for blocks.. “Be gone from my sight! I want none of your backroom shenanigans. I am a basset of principle and I cannot be bought!”
I guess it’s lucky for us that he was offered money and not french toast or who knows what would have happened! Bassets have no clue what to do with cash.. but food. That’s another story.
